VoD Via IPTV solves the Netflix problem

As Mike Arrington found out, DVD delivery services are terrific, but still rely on an inventory based supply chain.  Once we take the same content and put it on a server to be delivered directly to a television, the problem is solved.  That's exactly what Glowria has done with Neuf TV in France over their IPTV service.  It's also what some of us (me) do here using media center PCs with services like Movielink hooked into an HDTV monitor.  It's instant, it's always available, and, while the library may not alway match what Netflix has, it's far better than waiting for a DVD they don't have to send me.  I'd suggest trying one of these services, preferably via a Mediacenter.  It gives you a strong glimpes of what television service via IPTV will look like here in the US in the not too far future.
